Out of School Club
Welcome to our Out of School Club (Bo'ness only)
The Club offers 3 main services:
- Breakfast Club
from 7:30am - 9am and includes escort to school
- After School Club
from 3pm - 6pm and includes escort from school
- Holiday Club from 7:30am - 6pm during all school holidays and in-service days
Breakfast Club
The Kidz Stop Breakfast Club is a great way to start the day where a healthy breakfast is served and then your child has a chance to play games and catch up with friends before being escorted to school. Our Breakfast Club is open every school morning from 7.30 am.
Children attending Kinneil Primary school will walk to and from school with our walking escort. Children attending the other local schools will be escorted either in The Kidz Stop people carrier or with a local taxi company. We have used the same two taxi companies since we opened all of the drivers hold a current Disclosure Scotland certificate.
After School Club
Our After School Club offers your child a chance to relax with their friends after school in an environment that is safe and supervised. After registration, children are offered a healthy snack to bridge the gap until they go home for dinner. If the weather permits, the children are usually offered a short burst of fresh air with an outdoor activity or a visit to the park.
Our activities are carefully planned on a weekly basis with input from the children. Resources are changed regularly to suit the children's interests. The children enjoy a range of activities including: -
- Art & crafts and baking
- Small world toys
- Sand & water play
- Books and movies
- For the older children, computer and electronic games and much more...
Holiday Club
Our Holiday Club offers an exciting program of activities and outings to challenge and stimulate your child while they also have time to have fun and relax. You can rest assured that your child is having fun with their friends and exploring the environment around them with carefully planned activities, trips and outings such as: -
- Birkhill railway and clay mine
- Mid-Calder Zoo
- Princes Street gardens on the train
- Crazy golf at Callendar Park
- Visits to the cinema
At the Holiday Club we offer three types of sessions:-
- Morning session runs from 8am to 1pm and includes breakfast and lunch
- Afternoon session runs from 1.30pm to 6pm and includes an afternoon snack
- Full day session is run from 8am to 6pm and includes breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack (trip days must be booked as a full day)
The Holiday Club is also open to children who do not attend during term time.
